CashShield support resources for merchants, implementation teams, and Shopify App Store reviewers.

Getting started

  • Install CashShield and complete Shopify OAuth before doing any other setup.
  • Create a rule, confirm the priority, and save it from the embedded admin UI.
  • Test your intended checkout scenarios in a development or non-production store first.

Production readiness

  • Verify that the COD payment method name matches your checkout naming.
  • Confirm the rule order is intentional and that representative desktop and mobile checkouts behave correctly.
  • Keep privacy, terms, and support links current in the Shopify App Store listing.

Billing transparency

  • Any paid plan or additional charge should be shown in the Shopify App Store listing and accepted through Shopify billing before charges begin.
  • If pricing changes, rely on the current Shopify listing and in-app billing prompt as the source of truth.

Troubleshooting

  • If a rule does not apply, verify it is enabled and its conditions match the checkout input.
  • If postal-code logic looks inconsistent, normalize imported values and confirm local formatting rules.
  • If the embedded app is not loading as expected, reinstall from Shopify and let OAuth finish cleanly.
